Terms of Service & Conditions
This document outlines the terms and conditions between the customer and Capricia, confirming the roles and responsibilities of both parties, and our mutual understanding of the engagement's objectives and limitations.
1. PRICES.
1.1. The price of the products do not includes the corresponding VAT and will be added as indicated on your order and/or invoice. The payment of VAT will be at the buyer’s expense.
1.2. The VAT will not apply to the purchase of products whose destination is outside the European Union.
1.3. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, as indicated in their order and invoice.
1.4. In shipments to countries outside the European Union or with which the European Union has no customs clearance agreement, the customer will bear the costs of customs clearance and other taxes that may be applicable upon receipt of the product.
2. ORDERING:
2.1. In order to place an order, you must be 18 years old and able to contract. declares that the data and information you provide to us are truthful and up-to-date.
2.2. As a customer, it is your responsibility to confirm the accuracy of selections for online, mail and phone orders, understanding the unique choices and measurements involved in our products. We are here to assist, but please seek contractor help for the precise measurements of your customized door and other products we offer.

2.4. By placing your order, you are making us an offer to purchase the products you have selected in accordance with these General Terms and Conditions.
2.5. Once your order has been accepted, we will send you a confirmation by email which will also include the order number. The order confirmation will be effective from its shipment. If we cannot process your order due to any issues, we will contact you. by email or phone.
2.6. Once the purchase is made and as soon as reasonably possible, Capricia.store will send customers an email with the receipt of the order that will contain the purchase summary, as well as payment information and shipping and billing details.
2.7. Payment: Capricia requires a 30% upfront deposit on all orders, covering expenses like 3D models and material acquisition. The remaining 70% is due before shipping, with tax and shipping costs added to the final invoice.
In order to avoid fraud, at no time will you be asked for your bank account details.
Your order will not be reserved or shipped until we have received payment in our bank account. If payment of the amount is not received within seven (7) calendar days from the date of your order, it may be cancelled. In any case, once you have made the payment by transfer or debit, you must immediately send us proof of payment as well as your order number to the following email address: contact@capricia.store, Sending the transfer receipt, could speed up the process, but in no case would it serve to validate it or imply any reservation.
3. SUPPLY OF YOUR ORDER.
3.1. We will supply you with the products selected in your order confirmation, in accordance with these General Conditions.
3.2. The order receipt hours are twenty-four (24) hours on three hundred sixty-five (365) days of the year, although orders placed after 5pm will not be processed, remaining for the following business day in the city of Madrid. Orders received during the weekend will be processed early on the following Monday or first business day.
4. PRODUCTION.
In case of customized product, once we understand your specifications, We provide a technical drawing for you to approve. After approval, the good enters in production.
5. LEAD TIME.
Lead times are estimates, not guarantees. Shop drawings are issued chronologically based on order dates. Extensive revisions may incur additional charges. Customer review delays may extend quoted lead times. The quoted lead time starts upon receiving the first payment and in case of customized product receiving signed work order drafts and start production.
'Rush' orders incur additional fees and are prioritized. Shop drawings are issued within 5 business days, and customer approval within 1 business day is essential. Delays extend quoted lead times.
6. SHIPPING.
6.1. While the customer is responsible for all shipping costs, Capricia aims to provide a seamless shipping experience for your custom wood doors. We work with a number of vendors to ensure the proper crating, handling, transport, and delivery services to our customers.

6.2. Upon delivery of your order to the carrier, we will send confirmation of shipment to the email address you provided. provided when placing the order. In the shipping confirmation, we will indicate the tracking number corresponding to your shipment for you. can track it through the carrier’s website, according to the shipping method you have selected.
6.3. Orders are shipped insured, with a policy that covers the replacement value of the purchased works.
6.4. The ownership and risk of loss of the products in the order will become the responsibility of the customer once the order has been delivered.
6.5. In the case of shipments to destinations where a customs control must be carried out, customs clearance costs, as well as the payment of local tax, will always be at your expense. In the event that you. reject the order at the time of delivery and it is returned to Capricia.store by the transport company, will be deducted from the reimbursement of the purchase the customs fees, local tax and shipping costs incurred, as well as bank charges, if any.
7. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES.
In case of customized art wood, Customer responsibilities include confirming materials selections and design before ordering, approving product work orders and transactions, and providing accurate and timely information. Any unwritten promises not agreed upon by both parties and senior management may not be honored.
8. UPON PRODUCT DELIVERY.
Inspect orders within 48 hours for shipping damage or missing parts.
Damaged Orders and Missing Items:
For products damaged during shipping, please contact us at contact@capricia.store within 48 hours of delivery to initiate a shipping claim. Include pictures of the damage in your email for verification. We cannot be held responsible for items missing after delivery.
Report lost or missing items within 48 hours of delivery.
Insurance on all products is the responsibility of the client and should be addressed and contracted with the vendor prior to shipment.
9. INSTALLATION.
Capricia is not responsible for installation. Customers are responsible for inspecting products before installation. We strongly recommend that the customer contract with a licensed professional carpenter or general contractor to select and install the proper door hinges and/or framing. Capricia is not responsible for installation or removal costs.
10. SATISFACTION OR RETURN. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL.
10.1.Capricia does not accept returns for custom items. This includes special order items such as customer-designed custom projects, all doors, art drawing, and final sale items.
10.2. When the product is defective from origin, you must send an email to contact@capricia.store with the invoice number and explaining the defect. We will send you an email indicating how to return the defective product to Capricia. Once the defective product has been received and inspected, we will send you a replacement without any additional cost (subject to availability). In this case the change will be made by the same article or reference. Capricia.store will take care of the shipping costs for the return and new shipment.
10.3. Defects of origin shall not be considered as those that are attributable to the client, such as failure to take appropriate measures to maintain the work, exposure to light, water or other elements, influence of environmental and climatic conditions, improper use of the work and other similar factors.
10.4. When the goods, by mistake, do not correspond to that of the order, Capricia.store will bear the costs of collecting the wrong goods and delivering the one corresponding to the order made.
10.5. In case of return, the refund of the amount paid will be made through the means of payment used in the purchase.
10.6. Capricia.store will not refund the amount or make any reshipment of goods as long as the receipt and condition of packaging and the product subject to return have not been verified.
10.7. Once a custom order goes into production, there are no refunds on deposits. If a customer order is cancelled by the customer prior to entering production, a partial refund of up to 50% of the initial deposit is possible, depending upon the cost of materials and labor costs incurred prior to that point.
11. GUARANTEE.
11.2. Capricia 1 Year Limited Warranty
11.3. Capricia warrants its custom wood doors to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of 1 year from the original purchase date by the original owner.
11.4. Minor surface imperfections and variations in grain and color tones inherent in natural wood are not considered defects. This warranty excludes normal contraction and expansion due to local climate and seasonal weather conditions, improper installation, and normal wear. Non-specified uses of the door are not covered.
11.5. Maintenance and adjustments are the owner's responsibility. Capricia does not assume liability for any labor charges related to the maintenance, removal or reinstallation of replacement part(s). Any modification beyond the door's intended use voids all warranties.
Warranty do not cover any jewelry or gemstone as ornament.
11.6. Doors shall be stored at a relative humidity of 50 - 70% and protected from exposure to direct sunlight. failure to do so void this warranty. Prolonged exposure of an unsealed door to humidity, heat, or environmental elements may result in warping, cupping, or other damage that is not covered under this warranty.
11.7. Voided Warranty Conditions
The warranty for your Capricia's good will be voided under the following conditions:
If the product is not properly sealed before installation.
If the product is exposed to direct sunlight, excessive heat, or moisture without proper protection (overhangs, shading, landscaping).
If improper installation procedures are followed, or if the product is modified in any way after delivery, including, but not limited to, alterations to the dimensions or finish.
Wood is a natural material and is susceptible to changes in temperature, humidity, and UV exposure. As such, any damage resulting from environmental factors, lack of proper sealing, or installation errors will not be covered under the warranty.
12. CONTENT AND INFORMATION PROVIDED ON OUR WEBSITE.
12.1. Capricia.store reserves the right to modify the commercial offer presented on the web www.capricia.store (modification about products, prices, promotions and other commercial and service conditions) at any time.
12.2. Capricia makes every reasonable effort to ensure that the information displayed on its website is truthful and without typographical errors. If any error of this kind occurs, at all times beyond the will of Capricia, its immediate correction will be carried out as soon as it is detected. If the error occurs in some of the prices shown and any customer has made a purchase, we will notify you of such error and the customer or user will have the right to cancel their order at no cost to them. Sending an automatic purchase confirmation does not validate the conditions of a wrong price.
13. FORCE MAJEURE.
We will do our best to fulfill the obligations arising from your order. However, we will not be liable for delays or non-performance if they are due to force majeure. In case of delay, we will fulfill our obligations as soon as reasonably possible.
14. APPLICABLE LAW AND COMPETENT JURISDICTION.
Any dispute arising from the interpretation or execution of the contract will be interpreted on the basis of Spanish law. Likewise, for the resolution of any dispute, the parties, with express waiver of any other jurisdiction that may apply to them, expressly submit themselves to the Courts and Tribunals of Madrid (Spain), except in the event that the user acts as a consumer, in which case the competent courts will be those corresponding to the user’s domicile.
15. NULLITY AND INEFFECTIVENESS OF THE CLAUSES.
If any provision included in these General Conditions is declared, wholly or partially, null and void or ineffective, such nullity or ineffectiveness will affect only that provision or the part of it which becomes null or ineffective, the General Conditions remaining in all other respects, having such a provision, or the part of it that is affected, by failure to put it.
